Our Story

Early Years

Established in 1986 in Hicksville, New York, Francesco’s Italian-American Bakery was founded with one guiding belief. Listen to the customer, honor tradition, and create baked goods that families can trust.

From the start, Franco has been at the center of that mission. A father of four and a lifelong baker, he grew up with the values of hard work, family, and food made with intention. Those same values continue to shape the bakery today.

What began as a small neighborhood shop quickly became a local staple. Families came to Francesco’s not just for cookies and pastries, but for custom creations designed around their most important moments. Whether it meant crafting a cake inspired by a child’s favorite character or creating a wedding centerpiece that becomes part of a lifelong memory, Franco and his team have always taken pride in delivering exactly what customers envision.
